Iron Age/Celts
Meet Catia, a wise woman from the Iron Age in her hut on the edge of the village. Pupils take part in helping her as she prepares for winter, by preparing food, trying on clothing, training and preparing medicine. Depending on the length of the session and if your grounds are suitable, we can venture out to forage for plants to be used for medicine.
For multiple form entry schools we give your pupils a full day experience with a choice a of resourced in-class activities to delve deeper into the life of the ancient British peoples and how archaeologists work to understand them.
